You may have heard the quote:

Or in other words,

"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf." - Jon Kabat-Zinn.

This course is an Introduction to Mindfulness and helps participants gain familiarity with mindfulness-based stress reduction strategies.These strategies enable participants to strengthen coping skills that lead to deeper personal resiliency, develop their highest potentials, and explore their creativity in new ways.

This course will help you, as a participant, to better understand how to create more space between stimulus and response, so participants develop the skills to purposefully respond, rather than involuntarily react, to stressors.

Agenda

Dates: April 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th

Duration: 1 hour

Each session we will learn and practice a new type of mindfulness exercise and apply that to our lives.
